The skort

We've all seen this new trend. Whether a friend put up a picture on Twitter or a store put a picture of it on Instagram. It's called the skort. When I was smaller we used to wear skorts to P.E. and they were horrid. Now people have reinvented the disaster that was the skort and turned it into a super cute and trendy piece. The new skort comes in all colors and is available at almost any women's store and boutique. The skort has a sort of line running diagonally through the middle which shows that it is both a pair of shorts and a skirt. The bottom of it is jagged, which makes it an eye catching piece. The skort even has pockets! You must be careful what shirt you pair this with. It goes with many different types of tops but you must make it work! I think this is a great go-to item that you can wear to a million different events. For example, a lunch date, a party with friends, a night out on the town, and even a family get together.
